Alternating Trail Making Test Large is an iPad medical cognitive test app useful in evaluation for dementia and other cognitive disorders. Useful for neurology, medicine and geriatrics. A random display of the letters A-L and the numbers 1-12 is displayed and the individual attempts to connect these in the sequence order A1B2C3D4E5F6G7H8I9J10K11L12.  To use it, you touch the square of the starting point, for example "A" and then drag your finger across the screen to "1"  and an arrow is drawn connecting these two points.  Scoring includes the overall sequence and smaller "subtrails" of sequences such as A to 1. Shake or touch "New Test" button for a new random test.
