Eric Marienthal is one of the most in-demand and influential, Grammy Award-winning saxophone players in music today. His distinctive voice and incredible technique have made him the choice saxophonist to countless headlining artists.
In addition to being a mainstay L.A. studio musician, Eric has performed or recorded some of the greatest names in jazz today, including the Chick Corea Elektric Band, John Patitucci, David Benoit, Dave Grusin, Gordon Goodwin's Big Phat Band, Lee Ritenour, Dave Weckl, and The Rippingtons.
Play Sax From Day One is a complete introduction to the saxophone for the beginner available for both iPhone and iPad. In his clear and easy-to-follow style, Eric will teach you everything you need to know to get started on the sax.
Lessons include putting the instrument together, fingerings, tone production, tonguing, scales, and even a section that lets you play along with Eric.
This beautifully shot presentation contains a complete lesson, with accompanying PDF companion booklet, that will have any beginner playing music in no time.

On Application startup, the user is presented with a comprehensive menu selection covering all the available instructional chapters.
On selection of a chapter, the iPhone/iPad automatically plays, in full screen, the relevant lesson and, on completion, returns the user to the main chapter-selection menus.
In addition, on selection of the "Info Button", displayed in the top right-hand corner of the screen, the user is taken to a menu where they can choose to browse Eric Marienthal's entire iTunes discography, visit Eric Marienthal's comprehensive website, view the video production credits or view the Lesson Tutorial Companion PDF Booklet.
** PLEASE NOTE **
To view and save the Lesson Tutorial Companion PDF Booklet, the user's device should have the, free, iBooks App installed - available to download from the iTunes App Store.
This enables the user to not only to view the booklet on the iPhone/iPad, but, when the device is synced in the normal way to the home computer, the user can additionally access and print out the entire booklet via the "Books" tab displayed on the left-hand side panel of iTunes in the user's "Library" section.
