FocusPad HQ is a new and unque solution built according to the workflow of the qualiative researcher. The idea behind FocusPad HQ is to make the whole prosess with qualitative research more effective and dynamic. With FocusPad HQ you can plan, implement and analyse all your qualitative research projects with ease.

The Respondents tab on the iPad will display all the respondents recruited for that specific group. The moderator and the observers (client/colleague) can tap on the different respondents and view detailed information according to the recruitment specifications.
The Interview Guide on the iPad is divided into three sections. You have the timing at the top of the application. The seating arrangement of respondents is in the bottom section. The main part of the screen is occupied by the current guide. You can move through the various sections by swiping vertically, or use the section outline at the top left-hand side of the screen. Each time you move from one section to another, a section marker is created in the Timeline. The moderator can easily set key question markers and flag important parts by tapping on the screen. The observers can also browse the guide and flag.
The Notes is a text editor where observers can write their notes and comments during the focus group. The notes can be printed or send to an e-mail account. The notes are automatically synchronised back to the web part of the solution. The moderator can access the notes during the analysis phase of the project.
Messages enable the observers to send short messages to the moderator. These are one-way text messages. The moderator can view but not reply to the messages.
The Timeline is one of the most outstanding features of the FocusPad solution. The Timeline is a visual representation of a focus group or an in-depth interview. You can see your section markers, key questions and flags in the Timeline. You can also listen to the audio recording of your focus group or interview. This feature provides you a head-start debriefing your client and when you start analysing your data.
