Greatag App - Greatag for iPad & Reviews

The GreatAg for iPad application was developed for Great American Insurance Group’s agents who specialize in serving the agricultural community and the unique needs of farmers who purchase Crop insurance. Our GreatAg app allows our agents to access to important information about their clients’ policies and claims and provides acreage and crop mapping information anytime, anywhere.

All information, with the exception of maps, is downloaded and stored locally on the iPad so that it can be accessed without an Internet connection. Since many of our agents work in rural areas with limited Internet access, it is important that they can access policy documents and obtain electronic signatures from clients at any location without the worry of finding an Internet connection. All information is shared with our corporate database, so the same data is available in our traditional policy and claims web applications.

A secure login is required (the same username and password that is used to access all Great American Insurance Crop applications) and extensive security controls are in place to ensure that personal information is properly safeguarded.

The following functions are currently available on our GreatAg app:

✔ Search for policies by policy number or producer name.
✔ View basic policy details.
✔ View claims information including damage details and claim status.
✔ View a summary of accounting information.
✔ View completed policy forms.
✔ Electronic signature of policy forms.
✔ View policyholder mapping data.
✔ The ability to promote all producer CLU’s and edit attributes such as crop, practice, type, farm name, and plant date.
✔ Perform basic editing on field boundaries.

✔ Added functionality to search by producer name from search bar.
✔ Added functionality to draw a new GreatAg Mapped Field.
✔ New drop down menu for selecting legal descriptions in Mapping tab.
✔ Edit attributes is now the default editing tool in the Mapping tab.
