With TeacherVUE™ Mobile, now you can access and manage your classroom from anywhere using your iPad. Mobile, real-time access to your school’s student information system allows you to take attendance, view student demographics, schedules, emergency contacts and more from your iPad. Especially great for teachers that require mobility (ex: field trips, physical education classes) and for administrative staff, coaches and hall monitors that need to verify student identity by photo anywhere on or off campus.

NOTE: TeacherVUE Mobile is a free application for teachers using the GENESIS™ student information system and TeacherVUE module.

What’s in Version 1.0:

The TeacherVUE™ Mobile iPad application provides the same user experience as the web-based TeacherVUE module, allowing teachers to do the following:
• Take attendance for a class using two methods:
• Attendance by seating chart
• Attendance by student list
• Take lunch counts.
• View announcement alerts set by school or district after login.
• View student-specific alerts (ex: peanut allergy, discipline, special education services, and custody issues).
• Change seating chart position and save selected chart.
• Assign seat for students not in the seating chart.
• View student photos and demographic information.
• View emergency contacts and physical information.

Requirements:

• Only school districts using the GENESIS student information system version 6.5.1 and higher can support the TeacherVUE Mobile application. Requires configuration of GENESIS by school district’s system administrator.
• Requires wireless or 3G Internet connection.
• The TeacherVUE Mobile iPad app uses same user login as web-based TeacherVUE portal. Please contact your School District’s Administration office to verify GENESIS™ version and login information.
