The American Journal Of Medicine App - The American Journal Of Medicine for iPad & Reviews

AJM, The American Journal of Medicine’s official iPad app, brings you the convenience of reading your favorite journal via an iPad from anywhere in the world with just a tap. Currently this app is available for an extended free-trial to all users. Journal subscription shall be required after the free trial period ends.

Covering the full spectrum of the specialty, The American Journal of Medicine, "The Green Journal," publishes original clinical research of interest to physicians in internal medicine, both in academia and community-based practice. AJM publishes studies performed by multi-center groups in the various disciplines of medicine, including clinical trials and cohort studies from large patient populations, specifically:
-- Phase I, phase II, and phase III studies performed under the auspices of groups such as general clinical research centers, cooperative oncology groups, and the like.
-- Reports of patients with common presentations or diseases, especially studies that delineate the natural history and therapy of important conditions.
-- Reviews oriented to the practicing internist and diagnostic puzzles, complete with images from a variety of specialties.
-- Careful physiological or pharmacological studies that explain normal function or the body's response to disease.
-- Analytic reviews such as meta-analyses and decision analyses that use a formal structure to summarize an important field.

First generation functionalities of this AJM app include:

•Read the most current content, those articles published ahead of print (Articles in Press)
•View the content in .HTML or .PDF
•Save selected articles on your iPad
•Search & browse locally stored content (the articles and issues you have downloaded)
•Email images
•Highlight content and make notes with a quick navigate feature that list all your notes.
A series of additional enhancements are planned.

This is an early, first-generation application that provides the basic journal reading experience to the reading audience of the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
