The Theremin is a remarkable musical instrument; you play it by bringing your hands close to a pair of antennae, one for pitch, the other for volume. As the iPad doesn't have the same sort of sensors, we use the next best thing -- the touch interface.

Turn the virtual theremin on, and slide your finger vertically to control pitch, and horizontally to control volume. You can reconfigure the background image for visual cues on where you position your hand for a given pitch.

Secret Base Design is an independent (and part time) software team comprised of a computer science professor and an architect. We're having fun developing small applications, and hope you enjoy playing with them!

A bug that caused problems with some WiFi MIDI connections has been fixed, and a muted image has been added for the background of the controller surfaces. Fans of the old Theremin interface -- don't fret, we'll be restoring that functionality in an upcoming release!
