Zombie Apocalypse: I Have Safe Zone Superpower

Chapter 699: Six Beings

Chapter 699: Six Beings

Every time she thought about the massive stockpile hidden under her control, excitement quietly surfaced inside her heart.

’If I sell even a portion of it now, I could instantly become unimaginably rich.’

Even if she chose not to sell it, the amount of wealth she possessed was already terrifying.

As these thoughts crossed her mind, Ivy suddenly remembered the key Dante had given her previously.

The Blackthorn Family treasury.

According to Dante, the treasury contained countless hidden treasures accumulated over generations.

Just thinking about it made Ivy itch with curiosity.

Silas had already promised her that once he finally became free from all the current chaos, he would personally bring her there.

.......................

Deep within an isolated underground structure, six superior beings finally gathered together in secret.

The six superior beings present were named Jerry, Nanami, Coco, Haku, Barrett, and Tammy.

The moment everyone arrived, low discussions immediately began.

At the center of the room stood Tammy. She was clearly the leader amongst them.

Her expression remained cold and stern while her silver eyes swept across everyone present. Unlike the others, the aura surrounding Tammy felt overwhelmingly pure and terrifying.

Among all of them, Tammy possessed the highest bloodline purity.

Eighty-five percent.

Within superior being society, bloodline purity determined nearly everything. Status, respect, talent, authority, and future potential were all heavily connected to one’s purity percentage.

An eighty-five percent pure bloodline was already considered monstrously high.

However, Tammy herself knew this was still insignificant compared to the true royal bloodlines.

The royal bloodline holders all possessed ninety-four or ninety-five percent purity.

Those individuals were considered terrifying existences even amongst superior beings.

Still, within this current group, Tammy’s bloodline allowed her to dominate everyone effortlessly.

She slowly looked around before speaking coldly.

"Our first priority," Tammy declared, "is to eliminate every hybrid on this planet."

The atmosphere instantly turned tense. "They will eventually become obstacles to our goals."

However, the moment she finished speaking, Jerry immediately frowned.

"No," Jerry interrupted firmly. "We cannot blindly kill all hybrids."

Tammy narrowed her eyes dangerously. "And why not?"

Jerry hesitated briefly before answering carefully.

"What if one of them possesses extraordinary talent? What if someone among them eventually surpasses even us?"

The moment those words left his mouth, Tammy suddenly laughed coldly.

The sound echoed sharply throughout the crystal chamber.

"Surpass us?" Tammy repeated mockingly. "Tell me honestly, Jerry. Which hybrid could possibly surpass our bloodline?"

Pride filled her voice completely. After all, superior beings worshipped bloodline purity above almost everything else.

Tammy folded her arms before continuing in a chilling tone.

"Whatever schemes or personal interests you people are secretly considering, abandon them immediately."

Her gaze slowly swept across every single person present.

"The superior beings are already struggling to survive as it is," she continued coldly. "Yet instead of thinking about the survival of our race, some of you are still prioritizing your selfish interests."

Jerry’s eyes flickered slightly.

In truth, he belonged to the neutral faction amongst the superior beings. Unlike Tammy, he did not completely support slaughtering every hybrid or every human without hesitation.

And deep inside his heart, he had already begun questioning whether Tammy’s methods would eventually lead all of them toward complete destruction instead.

Compared to the Imperial Faction, which firmly believed that every hybrid should be exterminated without exception, Jerry held a completely different opinion.

In his eyes, everything should depend on talent.

After all, history had already proven countless times that certain hybrids possessed terrifying abilities capable of surpassing even pure-blooded members of the Imperial Faction.

Some hybrids had even shaken the foundation of the superior being society itself.

Perhaps that was the precise reason why the Imperial Faction feared hybrids so much.

They feared losing control. They feared beings whose potential could no longer be measured by bloodline purity alone.

Meanwhile, Coco merely smiled faintly from the side.

Unlike Jerry, she fully supported Tammy’s decision.

From Coco’s perspective, hybrids were nothing more than filthy creatures polluted by low-level human blood.

The mere thought that noble superior beings could mix their bloodlines with weak humans disgusted her deeply.

Her crimson nails slowly tapped against the armrest of her chair while contempt filled her eyes.

’Humans are insects,’ she thought coldly. ’Creatures like them should only exist beneath our feet.’

For someone like Coco, whose bloodline purity ranked exceptionally high, the existence of hybrids felt like a humiliation to their entire race.

However, while some openly showed their stance, there was one individual who remained unreadable from beginning to end.

Nanami.

Nanami quietly observed everyone in silence with a calm and scholarly expression.

He appeared to be nothing more than an elegant young man with delicate facial features and thin spectacles resting on the bridge of his nose.

No one would imagine that behind such a refined appearance hid one of the most scheming individuals amongst them.

Unlike Tammy or Coco, Nanami did not immediately reveal his position during the discussion.

Instead, he carefully calculated the possible benefits of every outcome.

’Why should I rush to make a decision?’ Nanami thought calmly while adjusting his glasses. ’If this woman named Ivy proves useful, then killing her immediately would simply be wasteful.’

In truth, Nanami possessed ambitions far deeper than the others realized.

Recently, the royal families within the superior beings’ world had begun becoming increasingly unstable and tyrannical. Because of this, Nanami secretly wished to establish his own faction within the empire.

And in his eyes, Ivy was the perfect candidate.

A half-superior hybrid. Someone who could eventually become a puppet under his control.

Not to mention, if he properly nurtured her, perhaps he could even create his own "royal" existence in the future.

Thinking this, Nanami suddenly smiled lightly before speaking for the first time.

"Rather than discussing destruction endlessly," he spoke calmly, "why don’t we think about increasing our forces first?"

Everyone immediately turned toward him.

Nanami continued in a composed tone.

"Currently, our greatest issue is survival. Without obtaining suitable human bodies, we may die before even managing to eliminate our enemies."
